Meet the blogger: Jasmine Ogunjimi

Growing up in one of the nations toughest cities, Jasmine and her family have learned the importance fighting for justice, while learning to preotect themselves at all costs. The city of Chicago isn't the only place where stories like these are bred, and Jasmine wants to make it a mission to bring awareness of the different violent acts the nation sufferes from every single day, and inform people of just how much they really do directly and indirectly affect us. ALL of us. 

 

Jasmine Ogunjimi is a 22 year old female in her Junior year as an undergrad at Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina. She is a long ways from home as she is hours away from her Uptown Chicago neighborhood. A proud member of the university's collegiate Women's baskeball team and a devestating diva of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., Jasmine makes time between her busy schedule to write short stories and novels that she hopes to soon publish. She continues to learn the ropes as she makes her way her third year studying both public relations and psychology, one day hopes to infuse all of her talents into a acreer path that focuses on her passions.
